Erm... yes, I'm still here, I still exist, but the blog is taking a vacation for a while. No-one knows quite sure for how long, but for now it has decided to go to somewhere warm and sit on a beach for a while.

This weekend I saw a bear! Yes, a real proper 500lb black bear, just 20 feet away from me on a hiking trail right next to Emerald Cove in Lake Tahoe. It was quite a magnificent creature, and seeing it was both scary yet also quite amazing. By the way, I can thoroughly recommend the Rubicon Trail that starts in D.L. Bliss State Park, if you're ever up that way. It affords some incredibly beautiful vistas of Lake Tahoe.

Yes it's about time I wrote something. Well, I can honestly say that the company I work for has finally arrived... now we've been parodied on The Onion, I don't think there is anything else we need to achieve.
