05/31/03 I'm kind of pissed at my web service provider today. For some reason, banner ads and pop-ups are appearing when you click on thumbnails to see the larger version of the images. For this, I do apologize dear reader. 05/30/03 It's rare that I'd write here and rave about a concert I saw, but tonight I very much enjoyed Coldplay at the Shoreline Ampitheater, and they were bloody fantastic, even though they were a long, long way away and looked like ants. 05/25/03 I had the pleasure today to see the Andreas Gursky exhibition at the SFMOMA. His photographs are on a truly epic scale, and it was fantastic to see such masterpieces so close up. It's only on until June 1st, so if you get the chance, go see it - you won't be disappointed. 05/23/03 Somnambules is a totally bizarre but wonderfully fascinating piece of Internet artwork that explores dance and music in a unique way. 05/17/03 So where am I? Oh, I'm still here, it's just that life has been busy the past few weeks both socially and at work. That's no bad thing, but there's a lot going on right now to keep my occupied, but it's all good. Still, the weather has turned lovely, and I finally ceded to the cell phone gods and decided to get a mobile phone. I had one for years in the UK, but held out here in the U.S. for a long time... but it's time I got one, and I know it will prove invaluable as it did back in London. 05/08/03 The Hospital is one of the most intriguing and immersive sites I've seen in a long time. Beware though, it's a little bandwidth-heavy. 05/04/03 There's an all-California Lomo Crawl planned for Saturday June 14, 2003 down in Pasadena. I think it could be fun. It's being organized by the nice people at Lomo.US. 05/02/03 If my life was a soap opera, it'd probably be gripping the nation by now. But despite that, I'm getting rather discouraged that the last few Lomo rolls I've got back from processing have contained a large number of blank images when I was positive I'd shot things. I feel I'm missing some good shots because either my Lomo is being unpredictable, or I'm doing something stupid. Anyway, from my trip abroad, I captured this unusual view of the city of San Francisco, and more recently, another cute doggie in a car.
